Quinn has 5 or 6 teeth!

Quinn's top 4 teeth have been working their way out for the past 3 weeks or so and now at least one of his bottom teeth are coming in. He remains the happy guy we know and love and doesn't seem to be too bothered by them.

Rooooaaaarrrr!!! I'm gonna bite you!

Littlest Cantelo meets cantelope :)

We are still trying out new foods and today Quinn tried some cantelope and really liked it. I think the cold cantelope felt good on his budding teeth. We also tried a little diluted apple juice in a bottle and he just gummed the nipple. It's fun trying new foods to see what he might like.

Taking a big bite!

I'm not so sure about this mom!

Uh oh! It's getting away!

Wading Pool Fun

The weather in Seattle is finally hot so we headed down to the wading pool this afternoon. There were lots kids!! Quinn was having a great time splashing around and was soaked head to toe. He only lasted about 20 minutes before it was time to pack up and head home for a long nap.

Quinn getting in some good splashes!

I want your hat!!

The madness that is the Greenlake Wading Pool.

Burke Bash

A group of neighbors on Burke Ave got together and threw a bbq bash to welcome us and also to get to know each other better. The party was hosted by our next door neighbors, Ansgard and Anne, who are originally from Germany. Anne is pregnant and due with a baby girl on August 21. Our neighbors two doors down, Jason and Tiffin, also attended with their little boy Elan who is 2 weeks older than Quinn. Also in attendance were Nate & Julie, who are expecting their first baby on August 22. Lots of babies on Burke Ave! Rebecca and Mitchell were also there with their 2 boys. Also amazing was that there were more vegetarians than meat eaters! Ahhh Seattle! It was a beautiful evening it and it was nice to get to know our neighbors a little better. Hopefully we'll have plenty more of these evenings to come.

Don and Quinn having a great time! Our hosts, Ansgard and Anne are behind Don on the left.

Tough Guy or Heidi?

Don thinks it's funny to put our dinner napkins on Quinn's head after dinner in a bandana style. Don thinks it's the Stevie VanZandt look but we're wondering if it's more like Heidi? You be the judge.

And what is poor Quinn thinking? Save me?

Our Day at the Park

Today is a beautiful day in Seattle so Quinn and I walked down to the library and checked out some books and music for him. Then we headed to the park and Quinn took his first swing ride. He was apprehensive at first but started to smile and laugh as the swinging began. Here are some shots of him enjoying his ride.

And here's The Mighty Quinn in action! Ignore my annoying mama voice ;>)
