Helping Hands

Quinn has become the role model for helping hands.
Need some batteries changed, Quinn will find the screwdriver and help.
Need to do laundry, Quinn will help sort and put the clothes in the machine.
Need a sous chef, Quinn is there to help!

Another task Quinn loves to help with is shoveling snow. Don bought Quinn his own shovel so he could help out. Most of the snow is clear from the pavement now but Quinn wanted to go out today and shovel. Much fun!!

Can you tell that he's shoveling snow from the grass on to the road? Not a problem!

We went up and down our street helping out everyone with snow on their grass.

Uh oh, mama forgot the tissues!

Where's the shovel he asks?

There it is!

And how do you drag a little boy away from all the fun he's having with his shovel in the snow?

Yes, Hot Chocolate with lots of whipped cream. And guess who helped make it?

The evidence is written all over his face (and shirt).

Our favorite hot chocolate recipe: heat 1 cup of milk with a dash of cinnamon. In a mug stir together 2 t. cocoa, 2 t. sugar, 2 t. water, and a dash of vanilla. Add warmed milk, stir, stir, stir. Add lots of whipped cream. Voila!
