Bahama Mamas - Part I

by Amy, March 08, 2010
With all the snow this winter, Mom and I decided to grab Quinn and flee to the Bahamas. I think it was a wise decision.

Quinn was a really great traveler all the way there. Here we are in the Charlotte airport waiting for our flight to Freeport.

And Quinn loved Jeff Gordon's racing car -- he wanted to climb in and drive.

We made it! We hit the beach around 3 pm and enjoyed the last bits of sun...and a Goombay Smash (rum drink). Quinn got right down to business. I love the colors of the ocean!

The next morning we woke up to some wild winds and crashing waves. Unfortunately the wind stuck around for a couple of days.

We couldn't go to the beach because the wind was whipping the sand around. Poor Quinn was digging in sand wherever he could find it...even a crack in the sidewalk.

We found a partially enclosed area where Quinn could dig in the sand and mom could find shelter.

So happy together!
