Cherry Trees

18 April 2011

Quinn and I visited Warananco Park in Elizabeth NJ last week.  It was the one sunny day of the week so we wanted to get outside!  I had heard about the gardens at this park and knew that the Cherry Blossoms were peaking.  Elizabeth isn't the nicest community in NJ but this park was a little gem.

I was stunned by beauty of this park.

There is a 1.8 mile walking trail that goes around this little lake and the park.

The park also has a cute little playground.

Oh how Quinn loves the monkey bars.  And this one was just the right height.

Flying like an airplane high up in the sky!

Cherry trees are great for climbing because the branches are low and there are alot of them.

We picked a couple of blossoms and headed home.
